DetectVideo.net provides probabilistic AI-generation and deepfake risk signals for human review. Our results are not legal, forensic, definitive, or guaranteed proof that a video is AI-generated, authentic, manipulated, or deepfaked.

2. Current P0.5 Validation Status
The current P0.5 version of DetectVideo.net is a validation build.
At this stage:
- Video file validation is performed in your browser.
- Uploaded videos are not currently uploaded to our servers for detection.
- The current risk-check flow is a mock flow designed to validate product demand, user behavior, conversion interest, pricing interest, and safe result language.
- Provider-backed AI video detection is not currently enabled.
- URL scanning is not currently enabled.
- Stripe checkout, paid billing, account history, downloadable reports, and team workspaces are not currently enabled.
Before we launch server-side video processing, provider-backed detection, URL scanning, billing, reports, or user accounts, we will update this Privacy Policy to explain the relevant data processing, retention, deletion, and third-party provider practices.
3. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use DetectVideo.net, we may collect the following information.
3.1 Website Usage and Technical Data
When you visit our website, our hosting, security, and infrastructure providers may process technical data such as:
- IP address
- Browser type
- Device information
- Pages visited
- Referring page or source
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Request logs
- Security and abuse-prevention logs
We use this data to operate the website, secure the service, prevent abuse, diagnose technical issues, and understand basic site performance.
3.2 Video Files in the Current P0.5 Build
In the current P0.5 validation build, when you choose a video file, the file is validated in your browser.
At this stage:
- The video file is not uploaded to our server for detection.
- We do not store the video file.
- We do not extract or store frames, audio, or metadata on our server.
- We do not use uploaded videos, extracted frames, audio, or detection results to train AI models.
If server-side detection is launched in the future, this section will be updated before launch.
3.3 Contact and Support Information
If you contact us by email, we may collect:
- Your email address
- Your name, if provided
- The content of your message
- Any information you choose to include in your request
We use this information to respond to support, deletion, privacy, billing, partnership, or upgrade-intent questions.
3.4 Future Account, Billing, and Subscription Data
DetectVideo.net currently displays pricing plans for validation purposes, but Stripe checkout and paid subscriptions are not part of the current P0.5 build.
If billing is enabled in the future, we may process:
- Account email
- Billing name
- Subscription plan
- Payment status
- Transaction ID
- Invoice or receipt information
- Refund and cancellation records
We plan to use a third-party payment processor such as Stripe. We do not intend to store full payment card details on our own servers.
3.5 Future Server-Side Video Processing Data
If provider-backed detection is enabled in the future, we may process:
- Uploaded videos
- Video metadata
- Extracted frames
- Extracted audio or audio features
- Detection job status
- Risk scores
- Confidence scores
- Signal summaries

- AI video detection providers, if provider-backed detection is enabled

We do not sell personal data.
We do not use uploaded videos, extracted frames, audio, or detection results to train AI models unless we clearly disclose this and obtain consent where required.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
DetectVideo.net may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to operate the website, maintain security, or remember user preferences.
At the current P0.5 stage, we do not intentionally use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising pixels.
If we add analytics, advertising pixels, or non-essential cookies in the future, we will update our Cookie Policy and, where required, ask for consent before using them.

8. Data Retention
We keep data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Current P0.5 retention:
- Browser-side selected video files: not uploaded to our server and not retained by us.
- Support emails: retained as long as necessary to respond and maintain support records.
- Website and security logs: retained according to hosting, security, and operational needs.
Future server-side processing retention, if launched:
- Uploaded videos: expected to be deleted within a limited retention window, such as 24 hours to 7 days, unless a different period is disclosed.
- Extracted frames, audio, or metadata: expected to be deleted within a limited retention window.
- Detection results: may be retained for account history, reports, or user access, if those features are enabled.
- Payment records: may be retained as required for tax, accounting, chargeback, and legal obligations.
We will update this Privacy Policy before enabling server-side processing.
9. User Rights and Deletion Requests
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

You must only upload or submit videos, URLs, or related content if you have the necessary rights, permission, and lawful basis to do so.
Do not upload videos that violate privacy rights, involve non-consensual intimate content, exploit children, harass others, defame others, or support illegal surveillance or abuse.
11. Children’s Privacy
DetectVideo.net is not intended for children.
You must not use DetectVideo.net to upload, process, or analyze child sexual abuse material, exploitative content involving minors, or any content that harms or endangers children.
If we become aware of such content or unlawful activity, we may remove content, suspend access, preserve relevant information, and report it where required by law.
12. International Data Transfers
DetectVideo.net may be accessed globally. Our service providers may process data in countries other than your country of residence.
Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal data.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, security monitoring, infrastructure protections, and limited retention practices.
No online service can guarantee absolute security.
