This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, credits, and subscriptions will work if paid plans are enabled on DetectVideo.net.

1. Current P0.5 Status
DetectVideo.net currently displays pricing plans to validate product interest.
At this stage:
- Stripe checkout is not currently enabled.
- Paid subscriptions are not currently enabled.
- User accounts, billing portals, scan history, downloadable reports, and team workspaces are not currently enabled.
- No paid scan credits are currently being sold through the website.
This Refund Policy is provided to explain the intended refund framework before paid plans launch.
2. Free Plan
The Free plan costs $0.
Because no payment is collected for the Free plan, there is no refund for the Free plan.
3. Paid Plans
If paid plans are enabled in the future, DetectVideo.net may offer monthly plans such as Starter, Pro, or Team plans.
Paid plans may include:
- Monthly scan credits
- Upload size limits
- Video duration limits
- Queue priority
- Result history
- Shareable result links
- Downloadable reports
- Team features

4. Subscription Renewal
If subscriptions are enabled:
- Your subscription may renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date.
- The renewal amount and billing period will be shown before purchase.
- You are responsible for canceling before renewal if you do not want to continue.
- Cancellation instructions will be provided in your account billing settings or by contacting support.

5. Refund Window
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, first-time paid subscriptions may be eligible for a refund within 7 days of the initial purchase if no scan credits have been used and no paid reports have been generated.
Refund eligibility may depend on:
- Whether scan credits were used
- Whether detection jobs were submitted
- Whether reports or shareable result links were generated
- Whether the request is for a first-time purchase or renewal
- Whether the request is required by applicable law
6. Non-Refundable Items
Unless required by law, the following are generally non-refundable:
- Used scan credits
- Completed scan jobs
- Generated reports
- Shareable result links already created
- Subscription periods that have already been used
- Renewals that were not canceled before the renewal date
- Custom Team plans or enterprise arrangements, unless otherwise agreed
7. Unused Credits
Unless otherwise stated:
- Monthly credits may expire at the end of the billing period.
- Unused credits may not roll over to the next billing period.
- Unused credits may not be exchanged for cash.
- Unused credits may not be transferred to another account.
If we offer rollover credits or different credit rules in the future, those rules will be displayed on the pricing or billing page.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel a subscription at any time.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Cancellation stops future renewals.
- Cancellation does not automatically refund the current billing period.
- You may continue using paid features until the end of the current billing period, unless your account is suspended for violations of our Terms.
9. Failed, Duplicate, or Unauthorized Payments
If you believe you were charged by mistake, charged twice, or charged without authorization, contact us promptly at:

10. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are usually submitted to the payment processor within 5–10 business days.
The time it takes for funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer, payment method, or payment processor.
11. Chargebacks
If you have a billing issue, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it.
Nothing in this policy limits any chargeback rights or consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
12. Taxes
Prices may not include taxes unless stated otherwise.
Applicable taxes, VAT, sales tax, or similar charges may be calculated at checkout by the payment processor.
Some tax or invoice records may need to be retained as required by law.
