1. Service Description

DetectVideo.net provides probabilistic AI-generation and deepfake risk signals for human review.

The service is designed to help users cautiously review suspicious videos before publishing, reposting, reporting, or trusting them.

DetectVideo.net does not provide legal, forensic, definitive, or guaranteed proof that a video is AI-generated, authentic, manipulated, or deepfaked.

2. Current P0.5 Validation Status

The current version of DetectVideo.net is a P0.5 validation build.

At this stage:

Future provider-backed detection, billing, URL scanning, reports, or account features may be subject to additional terms.

3. AI Detection Limitation

You understand and agree that:

You must not rely on DetectVideo.net as the sole basis for legal claims, forensic conclusions, employment decisions, platform enforcement, public accusations, media publication, financial decisions, or safety-critical decisions.

Always combine results with source verification, contextual review, metadata review, expert analysis where appropriate, and human judgment.

4. Upload Authorization

You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights, permission, and lawful basis to upload, submit, process, or analyze any video, URL, audio, image, metadata, or related content through DetectVideo.net.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring that your use of the service complies with applicable laws, platform rules, contracts, and third-party rights.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use DetectVideo.net to:

We may reject, remove, block, suspend, or report content or activity that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. User Content

You retain your rights in content you submit.

To the extent server-side processing is enabled in the future, you grant DetectVideo.net a limited license to process submitted content solely to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service as described in our policies.

We do not use uploaded videos, extracted frames, audio, or detection results to train AI models unless clearly disclosed and consented to where required.

7. Accounts

User accounts are not currently part of the P0.5 validation build.

If accounts are enabled in the future, you will be responsible for:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create legal, security, or abuse risks.

8. Pricing, Plans, Credits, and Billing

DetectVideo.net currently displays pricing plans to validate product interest.

Stripe checkout and paid subscriptions are not currently enabled in the P0.5 validation build.

If paid plans are enabled in the future:

9. Cancellation and Refunds

If subscriptions are enabled in the future, cancellation and refund terms will be described in our Refund Policy.

You should review the Refund Policy before purchasing any paid plan.

10. URL Scanning

URL scanning is not currently enabled.

If URL scanning is launched in the future, you may only submit URLs that you are authorized to analyze and that may be accessed without violating laws, platform terms, access controls, paywalls, privacy rights, or intellectual property rights.

We may limit URL scanning to prevent scraping, abuse, privacy violations, or third-party terms violations.

11. Shareable Results and Reports

Shareable result links and downloadable reports are not currently enabled.

If these features are launched in the future, results and reports will remain probabilistic risk signals only and must not be represented as legal, forensic, definitive, or guaranteed proof.

We may restrict public indexing, add expiration dates, limit sharing, or remove result pages to reduce privacy, abuse, and reputation risks.

12. Intellectual Property

DetectVideo.net, including its design, text, graphics, software, branding, and service content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of the service except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

13. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us permission to use them without restriction or compensation to you.

14. Service Changes

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, limit, or change any part of DetectVideo.net at any time, including features, pricing, limits, availability, or supported formats.

We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
